Royal Palm Trees are native to southern Florida, Mexico, the Caribbean and parts of Central America.
These palms can grow up to 90 feet high, with a spread of 20–25 ft. They are fast growers with a growth rate of 1-2 feet a year. Their leaves can weight up to 45 pounds.
Royal Palms can tolerate strong winds and temperatures down to 28F.
USDA hardiness zones 10a-11 are recommended.
Royal Palm Trees need to be watered frequently. Established palms require water every two to three weeks, especially during the dry winter months.
Fertilize every 3 months during Spring, Summer and Fall. Water the fertilizer into the soil and continue to water the palm twice a week.
Royal Palm Trees enjoy light conditions from full sun to partially shady.
