Who doesn't love Coconut Palms? This palm can be found on beautiful white sandy beaches and are known as the quintessential symbol of a tropical paradise.

Coconut Palm Trees have been around for more than 3000 years and grow up to 80 feet high. The thick and strong leaves of a Coconut Palm can grow up to 13-20 feet long and have evolved to withstand strong winds. These palms usually start bearing after 5 to 6 years.

Coconut Palms require full sunlight and are tolerant to temporary flooding. Coconut Palm Trees requires a minimum average temperature of 72°F .

USDA hardiness zones 9a-11 are recommended.

Water

Water the Coconut Palm frequently, at least 1 inch every week. Make sure the soil drains well.

Fertilization

Apply a fertilizer every 3-4 months.
