The Bottle Palm Tree is definitely very unique. As it matures, the trunk becomes more bottle shaped and totally reminds me of a bottle Caribbean Rum.
Bottle Palms are native to Round Island, Mauritius and can grow up to 12 feet high with a spread of 3-5 feet.
Bottle palm trees are slow growers and do not require a lot of maintenance, they also have a high drought tolerance once they are established.
It is recommended to plant Bottle Palm Trees in an area with full sun.
